i've been looking for a new pack for deer season, but on a pretty tight budget. i ran into this the other week at cabelas and was curious if anyone on here has used or heard anything good/bad about this pack. seems decent for the price on sale for 70-80$

Capacity is way too small if you're going to pack meat in it. If not packing meat, then it's probably fine.

I have that pack. Good little day pack. Not for carrying weight, but comfortable for day hunts. The little elastic pocket on the waist belt sucks, but other than that, I'm happy with it.

I have an older version of that pack. I carried out an elk skin and head with it, no problem. Heavy loads over distance would be an issue. I figured it would be fine to get the first load out and get the frame pack for the other trips.
love the stuff pouch on the outside. Very fast way to stuff a jacket when not in use.
