Puppy Chew toys

Well we have the sweetest new puppy... 
However, she has this nasty habit of chewing cords.
Of course this is just the list of cords we have found out we had not moved out of reach.   
But in two weeks so far it has been the cords for the: phone , phone charger, I Pod charger and last but not least the tri-torinics charging cord. 

She has at least a half dozen chew toys to play with but she can't help herself with cords and well boot lases... 

Any ideas on what chew toys would help with this habit.

We gave ours an antler, she just finished it off about a year and a half later.  Our old dog Loki ate several shoes, all my wife's, seemed to like the taste/smell of her feet.     Just had to keep her away from shoes.  You might try one of those tug-of-war toys that has a rope if she like the feel of that.  Of course, don't tug-of-war with your pup.

Personally I think you're stuck with the behavior for a while. Puppies are puppies.

Bully sticks for the pup and some bitter apple on the stuff you don't want her to chew.

One thing my dogs always like and its easy is ice cubes. They love just crunching away on ice cubes. Antler works well too

Another thing that you can do to occupy her time is get a kong toy and smear peanut butter on the inside.  That will keep her attention for a bit.

Another vote for a chunk of antler.  They love it and it lasts forever.
Then one day my 6 mo old pup brought a nice blacktail shed in from the woods behind the house...  Bonus.  Antler dog.

Outdoor kennel run. Then the pup will only chew on it's feed bowl and dog house. Puppy's chew, get over it! lol

Our new pup is a cord chewer too.  Bitter Apple spray has worked well.  I like to spray it when she is right there just when she is thinking about latching on....Just don't get it in her eyes.  I spray and then give her something she can chew on.  (Works well on children's pant legs too I might add..).   

A couple of folks mentioned sheds/antlers - they are awesome and last forever.  Our little pup loves to carry them around and even sleeps with them. 

Freeze a couple of old wet washcloths (or better yet, soak them in broth then freeze).  Feels good on their gums. 

Kongs are great and you can stuff them full of other things besides just peanut butter.  I like to layer them with things - some chunks of apples and carrots, a few cheese chunks, ice cubes, leftover meat from dinner, dog treats, frozen broth cubes & seal it with the peanut butter - just layer it up then stick it in the freezer.  I keep two or three in the freeze at all times and take one out when the pup gets a little wild and needs to tone it down a bit.
