Sol Duc quality
« on: May 22, 2014, 01:41:23 AM »
Any one putting in for the sol duc this year. I think it could be a good hunt if willing to put in the effort but with alot of land being posted this year and it being during modern elk season would it be worth burning a few points or not. Anyone have any previous hunt experiences here?

Seen some dumb rutted up bucks out there elk hunting in years past. I put in for that tag when I lived out there.

we'll the only thing I can say about this tag is I've lived here my whole life and this tag will give you the best advantage to have a opportunity at a great blackmail. But the only downfall is that most of the sol duc is mostlyUSFS so intern not a lotta clearcuts. And what cleacuts are on royonier have just been leased out this year which dwindles down on access  and another downfall is the weather starts to turn into absolute monsoons the whole month of November. But any how good luck to whom ever draws.
