Looking for a bow shop!
« on: May 13, 2014, 07:48:07 PM »
Looking for some bow shops in Spokane for my cousin. Heading up there this weekend and he wants to go shoot some bows. Don't know for sure what his funds are right now so not 100% going to buy one this weekend but here soon he will. Looking for a shop that won't be to pushy on buying one right this second, that knows their stuff inside and out and isn't going to push a brand just on loyalty. I'm trying to keep it on his head that it's all about what fits him and what he likes. I want to say we talked to the guys from SVA at the big horn show and they seemed pretty good kinda pushed bowtech and I have seen lots of bad things here about them. Thanks in advance for your input!!

There's a shop up 395 a ways on the east side of the road. Can't recall the name, nor do I know their reputation.

Greg at Whitetail Plus in Deer Park is good.  Lady Red in Chewelah at the Camod Arrow is good.  Alan at Big R on Highway 2 is good, no bows to speak of at White Elephant on Division and not a lot at the General Store.  Black Sheep in CDA has some great deals.  and cabelas, of course.

Oh, did i forget SVA?  probably a reason for that...  :yike:

White Tail Plus, in Deer Park.
Spokane Valley Archery, in the Valley.
Cabelas, at state line.
Black Sheep in Cda.
There's also one in either Colville or Chewella that I've heard great things about.
Big R on hwy 2 is in the midst of setting up their Archery department and has a few bows available.

Black Sheep currently has all of their 2013 models deeply discounted.

Right now, Black Sheep has incredible prices on all 2013 models.  They're DEEPLY discounted to make room for the 2014s.  That's where I got my 2013 Hoyt Carbon Element, Fuse Carbon Blade 7 pin sight, and Hoyt QAD rest, at a KILLER PRICE!

Do they have a range to shoot them?

They all each have at least a small shooting lane.  SVA has an outdoor range but I don't believe it's for pre-purchase use.

I'd recommend SVA for purchasing; a guy can buy a bow anywhere but it's imperative to have a true professional behind the counter setting it up....once he's ready to buy that is.
