I use the black gold rush sight   That's in the price range you're looking for.
Pins are strong etc..

The trophy ridge react is a little more $$ but looks cool.  Set 20 and 30 yards and the other pins range automatically.  (At least that's what they advertise)
Old enough to know better.
Young enough to go for it.

My favorite bowsight is the one covering up the vitals on a big muledeer :chuckle:

Sure-Loc (pin or slider)
Axcel (smaller housing than Sure-Loc)
Spot Hogg (Hunter or Tommy Hogg)

Those would be the three hunting ones in order for me.

I killed my first animal using a sight  when using just map tacks pushed into a big eraser.  Killed it pretty dead too!  So all the sights out there will work.  But, when you want a combination of durability, adjustability and repeatability those three get my highest marks.

Thanks for the input guys. I was looking at the hit man 7, and possibly spending a little more on an iq. But I'm going to do a little more research it looks like!

I like radsav's list of sights but not in the same order.

Love my new Spott Hogg.  Though my old trophy ridge did just fine too.  At first I had a hard time adjusting to the tiny 0.010 pin size on my new spott Hogg, but now I love them.  At longer ranges I can "aim smaller".  My old pins covered up too much of the target, even at 40yds they were too big.

If I were shooting a Hoyt the Sure-Loc slider would drop to the bottom of that list.  It is not too tech riser friendly.

I recently bought the Spott Hogg Bullet Proof sight. It was about a 100 bucks with shipping. I like it so far and it looks and feels well built.

Spott Hogg? Its out of your price range which is why I didn't mention it.  Its the hunter 7 pin, cameran hanes edition.  I dont know which model of trophy ridge I have but I knocked the level out accidentally and lost it.

I've used spott hogg for years and have always been mostly happy.  The older models had very brittle fibre optics that would break from time to time.  This year I bought a Black Gold Ascent 5pin with the wheel of death and a micro pin for my floater pin.  This thing is pretty sweet!  Bright in low light, dim in the sun, and I have shot my wheel out to 80 so far and it is spot on!  No complaints so far but have not taken it into the field yet so we shall see.
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton
