Another "looking for a bow shop" thread
« on: May 19, 2014, 09:35:37 PM »
I know these seem to pop up a lot, and I googled it but I thought I would ask for opinions on here as well.
I live in the seattle/newcastle area and am looking for a local ish bow shop to help me really tune my bow (it is a diamond if that makes any difference).
I have been shooting it how it was "tuned" and fit  when purchased from Sportco in Fife for a little over a year now, but thought pro shop adjustment might help as well as a general check on it.
Any input is greatly appreciated!
Thank you

Rock Creek Archery in Enumclaw.  Also Sportsman's Warehouse Federal Way has a great group of guys too.

Unfortunately I do not have advice on anyplace up your way.

But, I will mirror Sportmans warehouse, but for the Puyallup location, couple of really good guys in there, no games pushing product on you.  They just tell you what is needed (if anything) to make the bow run better or help adjust shooting form for better performance.  I have also heard good things about Rock Creek, but never been there.

Rod at Sportsmen Warehouse Puyallup has been a big help and is knowledgeable. Most of the pro shops from your area will require a drive and some time commitment. ")

Rockcreek Enumclaw
Nock Point might be your closest- Just not sure how great they are anymore. Haven't went there in a long time although they will work on most bows.

Good point on calling ahead at Sportsmen as the archery area gets busy on weekends. Any Yes I have also received great service at Federal Way just Puyallup Sportsmen is closer to the Tacoma Sportsmen Club for the quick unplanned purchases. LOL
