Faxed DAV verification & asked them to call & they did & said I was good to go. 

Just pulled the trigger on Hunting Lic ($35.50), Deer Tag ($23.75), Elk Tag ($39.75) + convenience fee = Total $101.61!!!   

Wow. Thank You Idaho !!! & Boss .300 winmag for sharing!

I have been the last couple years. I can't say enough good about Idaho. The game department is very supportive of hunters. I know that seems odd.

Got my tags for ID a couple of weeks ago. I was out for a day and tore up a tire. 100% DV. I've go a 10A  B tag.

Thanks for sharing this I will have to dig out my award letter, and get it over to Idaho F&G.  I have always wanted to do an elk hunt in Idaho, and have a couple friends who do regularly, this just makes it considerably more affordable.

I was going to forward this to a buddy but maybe someone could tell me if he would qualify.  He is a veteran and lost a leg just above the knee.   BUT..... the leg injury was in a farming accident after he got out.  Does the disability need to have happened during service?


Would seem to make the most sense if it did.....

Yes it would have to be service connected to have rating from the VA.
