Trying to take son fishing
« on: May 20, 2014, 08:46:37 AM »
Special request - My son is spending the summer with us (college break).  I want to take him fishing in some lakes and I’m wondering if anyone in a 30 mile radius of Bellevue might have a small boat (10’-16’) w/trailer they would like to rent on occasion?  No motor is necessary – I have an electric 30lb.

Anyone?

Greatly appreciated,
Carl

I have an old 14 foot alum you can borrow.  But no trailer.  I put it in the back of my truck.  I can recommend several local lakes as well if needed.

pm me...

WaFisherman,

Thanks man, but I'm pretty sure it won't fit in my Ford Escape.  :chuckle:

I have a 1 man inflatable pontoon, but it's a 1 man pontoon! I guess I need the whole package (boat/trailer).

I really appreciate the offer, though.

You could rent a small utility trailer or maybe a roof rack with cross bars?

Carl,

I have a 12' with trailer fs in the classifieds and am more than willing to dicker on the price if you think it would help.

I have a 14' that fits the bill. I live in Issaquah. I will be using it for crabbing once or twice a week. But other than that we might be able to work something out. Brian

I was/ am kind of in the same boat (not literally).  My daughter and I started fishing off the shore and have a a ton of fun.  No boat needed and you can bring a folding chair too. I am a little South of your location but there are a ton of Lakes in our area that are stocked.  One close to me is Bradley Lake....  I am sure you can find something comparable in your area that does not require a boat.
