Shopping for a new bow
« on: May 20, 2014, 11:51:36 AM »
I have finally decided that I jumped the gun, didnt do the proper research and bought a bow that is just to small for me. I am 6-2" have a calculated DL of 30" and a budget of 6-700 dollars. I would like to get something in the 60-70lb range.I have looked at the Bowtech, Bear, have yet to shoot any others. Those feel good in my hand. I dont want to make the same mistake twice, so what did I miss the first time, and what should I do and or look for this time around? Would like something that is going to last for me as I dont want to buy a new bow every year.

Current Bow is Diamond infinite edge at 65lbs, V5pin trophy ridge sight and will be getting a new rest with my bow.

I am going to Rock creek in Enumclaw, but other help would be appreciated.

I would try to shoot as many different ones as you can.  In that price range some bowtech, PSE, Bear, you may want to look at Martin to.  You can go to sportsman's wharehouse to either in federal way or puyallup

I don't know much about bows, but my neighbors son who is 18 informed me that he is selling his entire setup to buy a rifle so he can hunt one last time this season with his parents before he is off to college.  I do know listening to others it is quite spectacular.  He is bringing it over tonight after school so I can take pictures of it for him.  I will put those pictures up here for you to look at...The setup is in the Onalaska area...
