Their vitals are no different than elk or deer, one properly placed shot is no different in either of them. :twocents:

Except that the vitals are larger, resulting in a larger area to properly place an arrow.  Should mean that a moose would actually be easier to kill than a deer, except that an arrow has a better chance of penetrating a shoulder blade on a deer, than a moose, if the shot is poorly placed.

Correct, at 30 yards all 5 of my pins were on vitals, I only had to get my windage right.

Most moose stories I read are one runs across road and then it gets shot, Id love to read any good moose stories with archery gear if anyone has one. Can't get enough talk about moose! :tup:
