Powder at the Lacey Cabelas
« on: May 23, 2014, 09:34:15 PM »
I was just at Cabelas, picked up some H1000, IMR4064, and H4350. They have a lot of powder that I haven't seen in a while. The limit is two of each kind.

Here's a not so good picture of the list of what they have in stock.

I could pick up a couple pounds for you if you want. I will probably be in Wenatchee sometime this summer. But you will probably be able to get some by then. Especially with the new Sportsmanship Warehouse you have there.

I haven't seen H4350 at a Sportsman's or Wholesale Sports in about three years.  And I check about three times a week!  I've also only found about 250 rounds of 22 Mag in that same time frame.  Not a bad store, but they must send all the good stuff somewhere other than Vancouver or Portland :bash:

I have half a mind to drive up there tomorrow to get my allowed amount of IMR and H4350.  Though I expect by the time I get there and stand around waiting two hours for them to call my number the pretentious little pri*& behind the counter will tell me they are out!  Who needs to drive five hours for that?  Can't find any good bullets to go with the stuff anyway :tung:
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Don't go to the gun counter. Go to the left of the gun library to a small counter behind the reloading supplies. Find someone in that area. They should fix u up.

I was just up there again this morning. Got eight pounds of 4350!

We got five bricks of Federal 22 LR ammo, which was all that they had.

I noticed quite a bit of Remington 270 brass at a fair price if anyone needs that.

Also about a dozen boxes of Hornady Custom Lite 30-06 ammo for only $22/box. That's the low recoil stuff with a 125 grain bullet that people always seem to have such a hard time finding.

Oh, I forgot to say, the Varget was sold out when I was there this morning. It was crossed off the list. That was at 8:30 this morning. I'm sure a lot of others are gone by now as well.

I've been buying more powder than I can use lately, but H4350 is one of the few that I don't see much of. In the last month I've grabbed kegs of H1000, Varget, and Trailboss, and a couple 1# bottles of US869, Varget, Retumbo, H100-V, TAC, Magnum, and H335. I need to start shooting more!

I was going to start using it to start fires in the back yard :peep:.

I'll start grabbing more when I see it. I typically just buy a couple pounds of whatever I think somebody can use. That's how I ended up with 11 pounds of varget. That's a whole lot of 6 BR loads! :o

I'm pretty good with rifle powder. It's the pistol powder I'm struggling to get blue dot and tite group.
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.
