Area 6 Nevada early archery tag!

My buddy and I drew early archery tags in area 6 of Nevada. We plan on making one or two scouting trips ahead of the season. Our goal is to find the most remote spot possible and go for it. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.    Thank you Andrew L.

It's for archery deer and area 6 are the units 061,062,065,068. Northwest of Elko, NV

That's what I was wondering. I'll be heading by that country on the way to my 221-223 late hunt rifle hunt and possibly scouting next month.

tough hunt from the research I have done, I do have a buddy who has hunted units near there and a quad is a must he said...they use them daily to cover the massive terrain to find bucks.

My brother lives down there and has seen some monsters I will get in touch with him and see we're the hot spots are

Thanks for the info. I have read the trick is to get as high as you can and cover country with our glasses. My goal is to try and locate an area that is a little secluded from the roads and quad trail if at all possible. If that doesn't work than it will be to take the quad and cover ground with tires and glasses.

I know they shoot some monsters out of there, but my buddy and I goal is for a mature mule deer buck with our bows regardless of score. If we get one that stretches the tape as well it will just e a bonus!!
