core4element had some decent lightweight pants. Switchback was the lightest and then they had one that was in between the Switchback and Element pant, but I can't recall the name and their web-site got bungled up since Easton bought them. They have been running lots of them on Camofire over the last couple of months.And then I would agree the Sitka Ascent or Mountain pant are awesome, but a little more expensive than the Core4element. They are probably a little more durable as well.

I've got the Sitka Mountain pants too...I'd not wear these when it's hot out. They'd be too warm. Maybe up to 60 or so degrees I'm good in them. Above that, they're too much for me.
