Elk101.com Sold to Camofire
« on: June 06, 2014, 12:53:15 PM »
For those who aren't on our email list, I wanted to let you know that I have sold Elk101.com to Camofire.com. With the exponential growth of the website, coupled with the explosive growth of Extreme Elk Magazine, I made the decision to sell Elk101.com to focus my time and energies exclusively on Extreme Elk Magazine.

I will still be closely involved in creating quality content for Elk101.com, as will the rest of the original Elk101.com Pro Staff members. Camofire.com also owns BlackOvis.com, and with their six years of experience in customer service and order fulfillment in the area of hunting gear sales, I'm confident Elk101.com will continue to flourish and be in good hands through this transition and into the future.

All Elk101.com related emails will be handled by the team at Camofire.com, and my email will be changing from corey@elk101.com to corey@ExtremeElk.com (please direct all future emails to me at the new address).

Thanks for all the support for both Elk101.com and Extreme Elk Magazine I've received as a Sponsor here in the Forums. Extreme Elk Magazine will continue to be a sponsor here, and I'm excited for what we have in store in the near future. We also have a newly redesigned website at www.ExtremeElk.com (check it out), and will be adding more features and content there in the coming days. Thanks again!

Many thanks,
Corey Jacobsen

Right on, Corey. Hope it works out well for everyone involved. I've recieved great customer service from you guys in the past and I'm sure it will continue.

Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

It will be hard to keep that customer service where it was. Congrats!

ridgefire and Bucks2Ducks,

Thanks for the compliments and concern. I can assure you that Camofire will keep the customer service at the same level or higher. Selling a business and name I created was not an easy decision, but I have known Kendall for several years, and I am confident he and his team will maintain what we created with Elk101.com. I'll still be involved in some of the content creation, etc., but I'll now be able to better focus my time and energy on Extreme Elk Magazine and better direct its growth. Thanks again for all the support!
