Hornady sst, interlock sp, or interbond

Has anyone used the hornady sst superformance, the interlock sp, or the inter bond before?  More specifically 180 grain bullet 300 win mag.  How did they preform?  Both in accuracy and in expansion.  I'm looking into replacing my federal premium nosler accubonds.

I shot a bear with an SST from my 7mm-08.  Put the bear down expansion was good but didn't hold its weight as well as I'd liked it to.  I was going to look into the superformance gmx I think.

The interlocks work well, that's all I've  ever used in my 300 win

I shot two elk with the Hornady SST's and both of them did not go more than 30ft the blood shot was incredible    Both were shot right behind the front shoulder at approx 200 yds and both were blood shot on the entry almost the whole side and the weight retention was not good. I don't remember the exact numbers but less than half of the weight. I pulled the bullets out of the rest and sold/gave away the bullets.
They were very accurate bullets and did a decent job of killing but ....

SST's are excellent at extended ranges where velocity has bled off, they can be real messy up close. I have been witness to several Mule deer being field dressed that were shot with .30 cal SST's under 300 yards. We unzipped them and literally poured them out. Shot placement is crucial, keep those bad boys in the rib area or your going to be doing some trimming.

I bought a box of LightMagnum way back when for my .30-06 loaded with 165g SST. They were plenty accurate but I only ever shot one critter with them. A young coyote at just over 100 yards was hit behind the shoulder (like you'd shot a deer broadside) and a little higher than center, that bullet cut a V shaped trench that took out at lest 4" of spine. Literally it looked like it was carved out with a big knife.

Obviously it was DRT but with that explosive performance on such small/light game I never trusted them again for hunting anything larger. Kinda funny in a way because I totally trust 165g BallisticTips for mule deer. I'm curious to try some GMX's though, they look like a performer.

I've shot 3 elk with 164 grain SSTs out of my 7MM mag from 150 - 400 yards.

I've had very good experience with them.

They are very accurate out of my rifle so I'm taking them deer hunting this year , too.

My dad's .300 win mag hates sst's but his 6.5 grendal loves them. Personally I use accubonds in my hunting rounds.

I have shot a LOT of rounds with the SST and found it to be the best bullet out of my gun. I was using the 150gr SST for my .270 WSM. Hornady has quit making them, and I'm now int he process of seeking a new load. They are currently still making the 140 and 130's in SSTs, and in different calibers other than .270. If you select the SST, make sure that Hornady is making it in the grain and caliber you are wanting.

I currently have a box of 150 Interbonds, which are nearly double the price of SST's. The 150's in Interbond and SSTs have the exact same BC, so I figured they would fly similar; not so much. I found that with everything exactly the same, with the exception of the bullet, the Interbonds were several inches higher, and didn't group well. The way they are made the Interbond is suppsoed to be like an Accubond, but I can't get either of them to shoot out of my rifle.

I have no experience with the interlock.

I used the Interbond in my 300 WM and they performed perfect. Accuracy was better than the shooter sold the gun to a buddy and he shoots it better than I did.

SST: 50%-60% weight retention. Interlock: 70% weight retention. Interbond: close to 100% weight retention.
