He may have been talking about string creep. And that is very possible as the Lights Out came with 8125 strings. Plus if those are factory strings it's time for replacement anyway. The Bear cam used on that bow can function well with a lot of creep. One of the very nice things about that single cam. But the 8125 string was absolutely horrible. Would not surprise me a bit if it had exceeded the length even that cam could contain. A simple string and cable replacement with one of the more stable string materials available should be very easy.
But i was told its a brand new string and have gotten compliments on it saying "its new and a good brand" but don't remember the name off hand.
I have heard good things about vapor trails but have never used them
