Big Fish Eat The Little Fish I Guess
« on: June 06, 2014, 12:14:36 AM »

My wife's friends husband caught this Cougar killing this nice buck last season. He shot and killed them both. Cool pic! Rare find!

What an incredible sight that would be to stumble on out in the hills. Was that in this state? After he pulled his trigger he had a lot of work to do gutting, skinning and packing out.

It happened in Washington last November. He had a late buck special permit. I was told the Toutle but the buck looks like a Mule Deer, so I'm not really sure. I guess the guy walked out of the timber and there was this Cougar taking down the buck. I don't know the guy personally. It was forwarded too me several months ago via text after it happened. I guess the guy is a logger. He is married to one of my wife's friends.

That is pretty special!

He could have a recreation mount done... they used to have one at the State Hist. Museum in Tacoma like that- cat taking down a nice buck. Could be pricey I imagine...

I had a Cougar walk into me at 25 yards last elk season. It saw me and immediately turned and ran the opposite direction. Only the fourth Cougar I have ever seen. Hopefully the last.
