First Archery Whitetail
« on: December 01, 2008, 10:43:43 AM »
This is my first year archery hunting for deer.  Got this guy last week right before T-Giving.  An OK 3x3.  Grunted him in and stuck him at about 18 yards.  He went about 100 yards before piling up.  His back straps were delicious :)

Good on ya intruder. Sounds like you may be back for some more archery fun next year.

New Rule - count all points for whitetails, and (side x side) for blacktails and mulies.  WA is the only place I've been where people count whitetails by "western count" when the rest of the world speaks "eastern count".  And brow tines are scorable points - count 'em!

You killed a GREAT 8 pointer!

Nicely done!
