This is probably too easy, but I was out spring turkey hunting the last day and took this photo, what is it and where is it?

My first guess is a log. My second guess is an otter.

you were first to guess correctly...

He was strutting on the log and I was too slow getting the camera, he jumped off just as I was getting on him with the camera.
