I got some "great" shots of him on the water, but the water WAY overexposed  them.  Even in RAW

Simply incredible Bone the color and the bucks are way way cool! how close do you get? I mean obviously you got a great lens but I am just a beginner I cant gauge distance

Thanks.  I get pretty close sometimes Wilson.  The closer the better.  I think I was within about 30 yards of this last guy.  My lens really isn't that big of a zoom.  What it does do is allow light more when there isn't any.  Its only a 400mm
