« on: June 13, 2014, 09:33:17 AM »
Hey I drew this tag with my old man and honestly just know its rough country...we put in cause it was one of the hardest tags to get and thought it would just be banking the points...but we got lucky...so now I am trying to get my ducks in a row and get info and insight on what I posses...any help is greatly appreciated.

Come in from windy ridge, across the plains of Abraham. As your looking at the drainage the razor back ridge on the right above the only slope with trees jack if sized nobles. I'd hunt down from that ridge. If your willing to spike out it will save you a ton of energy, as it is some of the roughest country I've ever hunted.  Call those big boys to you. There not call shy at all up their. Watch your wind and thermals and pay the smack down!!!!!

I drew a peaches ridge bull tag if anyone wants to give me some pointers I'd be more than happy to listen.

I drew 1 of 2 rifle tags for bull elk that starts on Oct. 18. A couple of cow tag hunters there then, also. There is an archery hunt with 2 tags each for bull and cow followed by muzzie with same number of tags then the rifle hunt begins that I drew.

I will just be getting back from a goat hunt in Colorado so should be in good shape for a nice, rugged hike! Good luck on your hunt.
