I almost s-t my pants when I found out late last night that I drew the Chelan Butte sheep tag. And to sweeten the pot a cow tag in the clockum.  They draw antelope tags in WY in a half hour, maybe a buck tag is headed my way.
I got half in the bag last night and feel like S this morning and I'm totally useless at work today.  :chuckle: :chuckle:
Holly crude my lord you have drawn a special tag good luck!

I didn't receive any love from WDFW but my we checked today on Father's Day and my old man got drawn for goat in Chowder Ridge.  His first OIL Washington permit.  Happy Father's Day!
I've spent most of my life hunting and fishing....the rest has been wasted

I just want to throw out there to the I have drawn all three OIL tags guys, it's just a little frustrating for those of us who have been putting in for 31 years and can't even draw one tag much less three. To listen to that talk I know you don't mean anything by it but it's a little hard to swallow. Just food for thought. :(

I'd be pumped if someone I knew could draw one of these tags.  At least I'd get to tag along.

I'm not one of those guys  :), but I have managed to draw and harvest goats in 1972, 1984, and 1996 (the year before they became OIL).  The billy in 1972 was my first head of big game and my first permit attempt.  I'm hoping to add my Clemans OIL ram to the list (and wall) this year!  I can see how guys would get a bit ticked off at those who have gotten lucky with permits, but for goats at least, they used to give out way more tags.  Around the 1980 timeframe, they gave out over 1000 tags in the state, so it wasn't as difficult to draw.  By 1996, I think it had gone down to less than 200.

I'm sure I am missing several tag holders, let me know who you are so I can get you added to the list of lucky tag holders.
