Peaches Ridge Archery
« on: June 12, 2014, 07:44:04 AM »
Pretty excited to draw this tag with 8 points. The bad news is I also drew a pumice plain cow tag and I was really looking forward to seeing that country.

2-3 years ago we were chasing cows in little naches and I couldn't seem to get past the bulls to get to them...it will probably be the opposite problem now with a tag in my pocket. I can't wait to go on this hunt. I was already training for the high buck hunt, guess it will transfer to elk now.

The guys who got me into elk hunting a few years ago  (glad i was applying before I ever hunted them) are all going to Oregon this year. Looks like I'll be all on my own.

I'm in Bonney Lake and just hop the 410 over there. Its one of the closest units for me to scout which is one reason why I applied. Let me know if you want to connect. I will be scouting as much as my wife will let me.... :sry:

Sounds like it should be a great year.  We now have 3 bull tags in our party.

Yep, don't forget Taneum does have a general archery season going on at the same time for spikes/cows. Little Naches does not.

Its nice to see a few guys heading up.  I however, did not draw this year but will be calling and hopefully filming a bit of the hunt a buddy drew for Peaches.  Hope to see some of you there, at least with both of us hunting we stand a chance at some meat.... Cow or Bull.
