Good to see that at least one of the "rarest big game species in the United States and therefore the most endangered" has survived the increasing numbers of wolves and cougars caused as a result of misguided WDFW management. That is certainly a rarity, I wonder if anyone else has a trail cam photo of a WA caribou?

I haven't seen any hide nor hair of them for almost a decade now.   As many miles as I put on in that country, not even a track.  Good to see there is one still out there.  I think Bigfoot is less rare than this critter

I remember well when all the trialheads and such had caribou signs, then one year they transitioned out to wolf signs.  I saw a lot of irony in that

There are still a bunch of caribou signs around.  BC Still has a ton of signs up for them.  This picute came from about ten miles north of the border.

The Kalispell Tribe has trail cameras north of the border?

Not saying it is impossible, but they sure imply that the picture was taken in WA

You are really asking for facts to be posted? Seriously? Do you live under a rock????

Go check out Bozeman Chronicle about the several moose poached within the last year or so. The carcasses were left to rot in a ditch. Let's not even get into the debate of how many wolves were poached....So yea, the plenty of poachers.

from one of the comments on there.. really wish i could comment and just say thats not poaching thats management :chuckle:

really cool seeing that short hair elk caribou....

Are they finding any in Washington recently? Do you think this one migrates in and out of WA?
