Teanaway Elk
« on: December 01, 2008, 09:11:15 PM »
Any one do any good in the Teanaway this past weekend? I was over there chasing a few around but with the lack of snow things looked pretty bleak. I didn't see anyone that had anything down. Saw plenty of does and turkeys down by the 4D but it was like spring time out there with the mild temps. :dunno:

It's been a really tough year for me to get over there so I don't really have a pulse on the Teanaway. Sorry I can't help

On Sunday my dad, my son, and I were coming back from a Wenatchee bird hunt and there was 10 to 12 big branch antlered bulls lying out in a farmers field just off 97 just down on the flat (heading towards Cle Elum) from the road that goes up the valley. It was pretty cool seeing all those big bulls just laying there. Unfortunately I could not get my dad to stop to take pictures. Even if he had I don't think they would have been that good because they were out there a ways.
