The margerat is a fine place to hunt... a 300" bull is no gimmee in any unit.

Hey guys, new to the site and new to huntingnon the west/south side for elk, I have hunted east side. Lookingnfor a little heads up to put some boots to the ground and get into the thick. Going out for archery and looking for some good bulls. Any ifo or heads up would be great..thanks

  Have yet to draw a tag but being that I live amidst the Nooksack herd, get the opportunity to watch them year round.  We have a couple trail cams up almost year round.  There are some very nice elk in the general area.  Good luck to all that are lucky enough to draw a tag and hunt this area.
