odds are slim that there'll be 2 from WA... ;)

I know a guy who isnt a member on here who drew a 11 deer tag...late one and from WA

Sweet draw.   Some giant resident bucks in there!   Go Scout in July, cover lots of country, use your glasses.    Give yourself as many hunt days as possible.    I always start at the north end of that unit and work my way down.    Make sure you have a 4-wheeler or UTV.   My favorite area in that unit is a 45 minute 4 wheeler ride in from the gravel road (before you start hunting).

Yeah looks pretty rough going with the lava rock out there. Sounds like there's a ton of elk in there with some good bulls. Talk with on of the outfitters down there he says the bull to cow ratio is in really good. Called the magic valley BLM office and got the maps coming. That should give me a good idea on where to start looking
