Agreed. Nice looking indeed. Sure would look great under display lights in a gun case. I sure couldn't hunt with it--my rifle is covered in "character scratches."

yeah i would probably never shoot it, too pretty to shoot, i was lucky enough to hold it, as soon as i saw the price tag i set it back down, im not known for being the most careful person in the world.

LOL "careful" for me in the field is trying not to lose a piece of gear! keeping stuff pretty that is meant to be used just seems to double the stress level.

I've got one of these safe queens. A limited edition Model 70 featherweight in a .280 Rem that's still in the box with hang tags. Been there since 1985.
My advice is unless one is a collector don't buy a "non-shooter". It's just a gun that sits and doesn't get shot.
Now that Cabela's gun does have very nice wood.
