Yup, you are correct.  The title says it all.

It sounds like a good problem to have. That was a really lucky getting the Pogue with only one point!

Gosh, that's a good point.  Let see, out-of-state tags, multiple trips, new (walk-in) freezer, maybe some new guns....

Sounds like six-tens from now until October.

I wonder how many tags get drawn and never hunted?

Seems to me if a hunter puts in for something they ought to be able to devote the time to be successful, especially since they're screwing another hunter out of the opportunity.  Not pointed at you OP so much as a general statement on draws when I read threads like these.

Frustrating when you're sitting a pile of points for a specific hunt and you read a thread from some dude asking advice on a hunt he won with 1 point and never scouted the area and probably won't even hunt it.

Almost wonder if there should be a penalty for not filling a special draw tag, might help with anti-hunters putting in for draws to just sit on them.

KFhunter don't worry I'll hunt a and fill my tags i booked with oakangon valley outfitters  for my pouge unit hunt so i don't need to scout it, just show up & hunt. For my  cow hunt i do that one with a buddy  on  WEEKEND. AND THEN I'LL USE TRIPPEL 3 OUTFITTERS IN WY on my mule deer hunt/antelope  And for drawing it took my 13 points to draw my Margaret tag 4 years ago so l feel for you buddy.I JUST DID NOT THINK I WOULD DRAW 3 TAGS IN THE SAME YEAR.

This is exactly why having several sets of bonus points for each species is dumb. I would have gladly taken a tag that other guys who drew two deer tags will only use one of them.

KKC, congrats on getting all of those tags! That is an impressive, but often rare feat. I do not envy you for getting all of those tags in the same year.

Sounds like the scouting won't be too strenuous since you have guides...But the biggest problem will be time off...Hopefully you can acrue comp time or something similar.

I hope you start a post for all of the pics/stories you'll have that is a great follow up to "So Screwed", maybe something like "luckiest guy in Washington?"
Wishing I was fishing...or in Wyoming

Late Pogue tag has the potential to produce as high a quality buck as Wyoming. :twocents:

I like the points system they have now. If your not getting drawn start putting in for the less popular hunts, there are good areas that less people put in for.
