Hey Mike, Congrats!  Didn't you draw Bethel last year?  How'd that go?

FYI, I drew MS Elk tag this year and then drew Bethel Muzzy cow tag in special drawings.  So, will be in RR for archery elk and then Bethel if necessary.

Take care,

ET

Hey et nope didn't draw last year and didn't score on a spike but my bud who had a heart attack during the summer had a 6x6 walk by and the other had 5 or so cows walk by. We'll all be 63 this year and have know each other from our military  days 40+ years ago  just hope this will be when we SCORE. Me I got lucky and and found a really nice 4 point shed I brought back. At least I didn't come home empty handied. We had a blast and to get drawn this year ......... well who knows how long we can do this or if we'll have another chance but I can say I'll be hunting my butt off. I've got several cows with the smoke pole but only one 2x2 bull and I hope this will be my year to get a nice one. Might be real hard to pass up the first bull I see even iffin it ain't a big one.

Real nice avatar by the way

Mike

Been hunting archery elk in RR for many years.  I usually have several cameras set up in there before Memorial day where we typically hunt, but haven't been able to get out yet this year due to family medical issues.  But, we always have a big bull or two on camera and usually hear a few of them talking where we hunt.  Nobody in my bunch of hunting buddies drew an archery RR bull tag this year.  So, stay in touch and I'll let you know where one or two might be hanging out after Archery season is done.

FYI, two or three of my buddies were over there this last weekend and saw quite a few elk down low still.  Good growth starting too on bulls.  Should be a good year as long as we don't have another fire over there this year.
