took my son to meet him at san diego st.....very photogenic and personable and very built to flat out hit....son ended up not playing there but was a great impression left in his mind R.I.P. Tony

I shook his hand at a baseball tourney down in San Diego about 10 years ago and got to listen to him talk baseball for about an hour. It was a great experience. A great ballplayer for sure!

Sad news. I am not much of a baseball fan, but it doesn't take one to see how classy a guy he was. Always smiling, always ready to play. We won't see another like him for a long time. RIP
