My ducking hunting partner bought one last year. It looks cool on the water but I couldnt say if it got us more ducks.   :dunno:

I am not familiar with that specific model, but the idea of wing movement in the deeks are killer on field hunting in afternoons. Never had much luck with decoying over water.

i would say its not worth the $$$$  I think i get better movement from a jerk string, and the wing flash from the wing magic is minimal at best

I don't know.  The motorized spinning wing was awesome the one year that we got to use it.  Same theory without the motor.  My brother has one that he uses, but I don't.  I do know that the geese do not like it.  It probably falls into the same category as blackclouds, if it makes you feel good great!  If not, don't use it.  I also know that it doesn't put more birds in the air.

the wing magic sits on the water..... the wings act as "flippers".

its not that much better than a regular jerk string, except you have to carry it more carefuly so the wings dont bend or break, and its really not worth all the hassle, that and you have to buy the electrical conduit and cut it to size and spray paint it.  All it really is, is a ghg full body shell with a bigger hole in the top for the conduit and then a wing apparatus that really isnt worth the $60. make your own it would be way cheaper and work just the same

:yeah: but i think we should give it more then 1 hunt to decide if it is crap or not. i mean the one time we used it the ducks were being shot at out closer to the salt before they got to us and then were just flying high and fast right over the top of us? not even a moterized decoy will bring in a duck that has just been shot at.

I believe there are a couple variations on this theme out there.  I have one that floats and the wings spin when you pull it.  Works fine.  I'm guessing this would too.  Shows movement and life that doesn't exist w/ regular ol blocks.
