Another state draw, another rejection! Nine states down, two to go! Come on OR or Arizona!

None of the big 3 for me in Montana. Just struck out in Oregon. That's 0 for 5 states so far. Come on AZ desert bighorn!

Don't forget to comment on the proposed license increase for nonresident moose, sheep, bison, and goat from $750 to $1,250!

$1250 doesn't seem bad for moose. I think Idaho is around $1,000 higher.   :o

I pulled out this year so it doesnt matter what they raise their prices too. I am starting to think its foolish for the future of hunting to have a smaller base of paying customers (aka hunters that also vote) than a larger base but that's "just my opinion."

For elk, MT nonresidents pay 96% of the cost.

A tag going up $500 in a single swoop doesn't bode well for the future of hunting in my opinion.  Good news for those that can afford it I guess.

We seem to be in a period where the states are racing to figure out what price results in the maximum revenue without regarding the heritage or affordability.  The end game is some guy paying $5 million to buy one tag and hunt by himself.

I agree with all of what is being said here.  It seems most wildlife managers would auction/raffle their mother off if they figured it would bring another nickel into the department.  Its a very sad and frankly terrifying future...when only millionaires can afford to hunt.
