Well we just got back from another scouting trip. I had a cam out for 2 weeks, no bait, just picked a spot and set it up.  Pretty happy with the results, and a cool mix of critters for a quicky set up.( My 1st ever moose on a cam) 
As we arrived at the cam a grouse flew up to a tree right in front of the cam. We soon discovered some very tiny chicks running around,(that got the wife all giddy)

I set up another cam in a different area and left them in video mode this time.
Lots of huckleberries went home with us too, but I think 1 of our Labs was better at picking than we were.

I was told this is the 2nd place Moose in the Washington State Record book, 48 1/2 inches, by the WDFW at Bisbee Mountain. Exactly where I told you to hunt Chris.

Maybe it could be the #2 archery moose?

One shot through the boiler room was all it took. He stumbled at the shot, took Two steps, then rolled over!

Moose are nothing like a elk when taking lead or arrows. They go down fast
