Perfect the fundamentals of duck hunting and it won’t matter which decoys you use.  A good hunter will get birds over decoys that don’t seem much to you.  The best looking decoys you can buy, decoy the hunter into a purchase.

Location, Presentation, and concealment... location is the most heavily weighted right?
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Tanglefree Migration edition, full flocks.  I hunted them on a guide a few years back and bought 2 dozen.  The realism is unbelievable.  A little spendy, but worth it. I also have 2 dozen Cabelas, full flock, their nice and real looking, but the flip when throwing on the water, and so light if you don't put heavier weights on them they float/ move out of the spread

:yeah: My dads lives to duck hunt. His go to rig consists of about a half dozen old flambeaus that are so worn they are basically black silhouettes on the bay. The rig started out with more but it seems every year he takes a couple out to save himself the weight. He shoots a gun with zero bluing left, talks sweet poetry on the call and stacks birds like no one I have seen.
