The little .410 is the truck gun with #6 3" but normally it's the .30-06 with 150gr. hand loads.

M'kay. I voted 12 gauge. Pump action. Bc it's all I have. Id love to have a nice 20 gauge O/U but I just don't bird hunt that much to justify the expense.

I carry an old Russian 12 GA auto in the truck and a pocket of hand load number 8's and have never had a problem. I have used a 30-06, .308, .223, 45ACP, .22LR pistol and a .54 Muzzy. They all work for me  :twocents:
