I'm pretty much sold on the RRA 1-piece mounts for my ARs.  They come in standard cantilever and more cantilever, 1" or 30mm.  I have a standard cantilever 30mm mount on my 20 LBC AR that I carry coyote hunting.  For lankier guys or bigger scopes, the mount with more cantilever might be needed, but the standard works for me....  :twocents:

My wife threw a fit when the boxes started showing up from UPS,She has no idea how much I've got into the thing,I worked 2 weeks of 7 12's to pay for the scope and another skeet gun I bought at about the same time.My wife just had to have a new car last year and it was pretty expensive, she swore to me at the dealership that she would make the payments on it,well,,,,,,,,,,,, she hasn't made one car payment and the rathole bank account that was tied to the car loan that housed 16K worth of my bonus money from work went into the car.The guns are what I consider getting even. The rathole money was earmarked for finishing my shop interior man cave/party room.
Does your Mother know you have that ???

Very nice!  Puts my 5 ARs to shame.  I just spent $1300 on a single-shot 219 Donaldson Wasp rifle/scope combo.  I drive a 1986 Ford Ranger pickup, and a 1990 Ford Bronco II.  Gotta keep your priorities in order, I guess...  :chuckle:

Did the break in, first time out Saturday, turned out very well. Here's a 200 meter target.Figured out what kind of factory ammo it likes, the pasters are covering American Federal AR ballistic tips, one shot was a complete miss and the other two were off a country mile. The 4 shots there are Fiocchi 50 grain Vmax extrema hunting ammo.I'm pretty happy with how it turned out about now, that's for certain!

Clear crisp sharp image, definitive clicks,I'm satisfied it will do all I want it do do and more.Relatively certain I will never maximize the capability of the gun or the scope.
What are your thoughts on the Nightforce SHV???
