I got an email. And it was 2 Kings. Total of 8 fish I believe. That's how it always read, and is correct. 8 total. No more than 4 sockeye, and 2 hatchery adult kings, thus leaving the final two fish as Chinook jacks. 8 total.

What do you guys think, Thinking of doing a one day trip to Wanapum Dam or Wells Dam this weekend, but I would be limited to bank fishing. Do I have any chance of catching sockeye there at all from the bank?
On Wells Dam. The upriver side the rocks are always bloody. Just bring a wagon to carry 2 ice chests 1 for WATER the other 1 for fish you catch. Tackle box bait etc. The wagon makes it easier to carry all your gear from the parking spots.
never a fish caught this morning,I had them jumping all around me,I was as tight on the bank as they were,Talk about close mouth..
Has anyone had luck for sockeye fishing from the bank around wanapum? Do they hit spinners, flys, shrimp and a bobber? Was there today in a friends boat and man they were jumping everywhere next to the bank. Any ideas?
