I know money is tight and a quick turn around time is appealing but consider how long it will hang on your wall and how often you will look at it, enjoy it, show it to friends and family.  If you feel an animal is "worth" mounting, any animal, pay to have it done right and wait to have the results you want.  You'll be much happier in the long run!
