Free Porcupine
« on: June 27, 2014, 11:23:57 PM »
Anyone have a use for a good sized porcupine? I've got one in my freezer, was about 35 pounds, skinned out by Michelle Nelson. I'm not going to do anything with it, just want to get it out of my freezer now. It's been in my freezer since October.

I already used the carcass for coyote bait. The quills are supposed to be worth something. Or somebody could probably mount it if they wanted to. It would be kind of cool, but I don't have money to spend on that right now.

Quills aren't worth much. Guard hair is. It sells by the ounce.

The quills can be used for jewelry or beads and you may get a couple bucks for the guard hair.
