IQ bow sights. Anyone used them?
« on: June 28, 2014, 08:03:02 PM »

I  mostly hunt with my bow but this last year I started the 3-ds and got hooked i'm looking for ways to get more accuracy I've been shooting for a couple years now and I'm trying to find ways to get more consistent with tighter groups.I currently use a black gold 7 pin and love it.Seen this IQ sight in the store and it promises tighter groups at further distance by eliminating torque any insight would be great. Thank you

I really like mine and it does help eliminate torque and helped my groups.

If I was buying a new sight, I would probably get one of these.  I had one of the No-peeps that works the same way as the IQ eye does and I loved it.  It very quickly lets you know if you are misaligned.  It also eliminates the possibilty of a water drop in your peep sight (if you get rid of your peep as well).  It is too bad they are so spendy, but I guess others are as well.

I'd really like to see this IQ sight in person.  Anyone know where they are available in the Auburn area?  I can't seem to find a place on their company website that lists dealers.

I was moments away from ordering the 7-pin IQ when I went to their website and watched a video on setup.  I learned that the micro adjustment moves all of the pins at the same time rather than individually, which makes me wonder just how useful that micro adjustment is.  It seems like you can get one pin to be exact but the rest you apparently have to use an allen wrench for the adjustment on individual pins, which seems to defeat the purpose of micro adjusting.  Your thoughts, please.  Am I over thinking this? :dunno:
