..if that bull is going to go 330 it better add 8" to those fronts and 3rds

And hide for another four or five years ;)
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Yeah, he's got lots of growing left to do on his tops.  When they are all "balled up" like that, they are still growing out (almost daily).  His fronts do look a little thin, so he'll probably be a first year 6.  Maybe 280-ish.  If you didn't draw a tag this year for him, that's perfect.  Draw the tag next season and he'll be just about ready... :chuckle:

so, since his fronts aren't balled up anymore, they're completely done growing?

From what I have seen, once the "ball" is gone from the tip, the antler doesn't grow larger.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I believe those thirds could become a bit more defined in the following week.  That could in turn add an insignificant amount of length.  But once that velvet comes off it will seem as though he's lost 40% of his size regardless of what those four and fives turn out to be.  He looks thin even with the velvet!

I would never give anyone the slightest bit of sincere grief for shooting that bull.  But he is just not impressive enough to score yet.  Maybe in another four or five years he could become a masher.  And he definitely is unique with that brow so far to the inside of the pedicle.  If you are looking for a bull that makes book...this guy is not at all close.

I bet he would taste GREAT!  :EAT:
