Deep woods bears

I have heard that meander meadows up out of wenachee is a 4000 acre meadow with a trail that goes around it, suppose to be loaded with lots of berries and lots of bears , anybody heard the same thing? just wondering, its about 8 miles back off the end of the road elavation 5000 feet

Its a very popular hiking spot. The best thing for bears is to get away from people IMO.
I have heard about some bears up there though.

We went on a 70 mile hike last year and saw 48 different bears, most of which were a long way from the very traveled spots.
Find what they are eating and you can't go wrong.
