The Triple Boss at Gene's stop n go in Monte, right across the street from the Dennis Co. 3 patties with cheese and thick ham slices in between each patty. It's the best after-fishing burger ever! Oh and don't order fries, because you'll be too full, and it's only like $6.00.

I had forgotten about Gene's.  Haven't been there in about 20 years.  At that time we used to get a burger called Gene's special.  It came on an oversized bun and had eveything you mentioned includingsome fried eggs.  Is it still on the menu?  We used to get it on our way out for sturgeon fishing.  It was a fine burger!

I'm not sure. I never even look at the menu because I always get the triple boss, but if they still have that Gene's special, I may just have a new favorite!

Sweet tarter, sweet pickles, bread & butter... :puke:

When I was growing up in Tumwater there was a burger joint in West Olympia called Lou's.  Not sure if it is around anymore.  They had the best dill pickle tarter/burger sauce on the planet!  They called it burger goop.  Used to order a double cheese burger with Extra Goop.  Was my favorite place to go as a very young boy.

Rotten Ralph's in Arlington, when it still existed years back, they had THE best tater sauce ever, and yes it had plenty of onions in it. They also would use real fruit in their milkshakes. I loooved the banana milkshake. It's hard to find a joint that will do that anymore, they just use that espresso/Italian soda flavorings out of the bottle, Yuck!
$5 is a lot of money if you ain't got it

I like the regular FF. Those tavern type fries are too darn big and don't ever crisp up.

How did Eagan's Big Toms compare to Lou's?  :dunno:

There is a new place in W Oly called 5 guys burgers........they are pretty good.  I like Herfy's has been in W Oly for a few years now.....I remember going to Herfy's in Federal Way as a kid, although my memory makes it better than what I've found the new one to be.
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

Have to go with Frisco freeze in Tacoma, haven't been in years and haven't tried very many you guys are suggesting.  I do have to say this, just got back from California and tried "in and out burger".  Not impressed, and the fries were terrible.
“In common with”..... not so much!!
