attaching a gun or bow to a kifaru bikini with dt1 bag?
« on: July 09, 2014, 08:09:33 AM »
Im thinking of buying a bikini with dt1 and am not really seeing how i can attach my gun or bow to it. Anyone have ideas? Its basically a shorter dt1 and lots of people have those. What say you?

I'd be curious if anybody has bought the gun scabbard from Eberlestock and incorporated it into a pack of this style.

theres 4 ways to do it very easily. they are somewhat a preference. the kifaru gun bearer, it has 2 different ways to rig it. the original way where it rides under your arm for quick access. of just use the bottom and put the top through side compression straps for it to ride vertical. use side compression straps only. will ride just fine, but youll have to take your pack off to get to it. corral gunslinger on the waistbelt. rides vertical but can get your gun out with pack on in about 3 seconds. kinda hokey, but it really works pretty well. or run a medium belt pouch on the side webbing and use the compression straps. same concept as using the the bottom of the gunbearer.

I found out that my eberlestock butt bucket mounts right onto the kifaru and holds my gun or bow perfectly.
