I have never had anything officially scored, and i don't think scoring has anything to do with honoring the animal. I do have a few of my favorite bucks that i plack mounted and of the 6 i have the one that catches most peoples eyes and generates the most conversation is a 3x3 whitetail with a 22" spread and 9" eye guards that would "score" the lowest of them all. Numbers don't mean much to me, but pictures and stories do.

Hey K., this is Matt Y.  Good to see you on here.

How did you guys do this year?  I got one with my bow in Sept. and took Dad up last weekend and he shot a little buck with his rifle (he drew mult-season).

I guess my answer is "sometimes."  Actually, when you score it, I guess.   :)
