Starter Bow?
« on: December 04, 2008, 10:12:43 AM »
I need some advice here.  My daughter (age 18) has expressed an interest in learning to shoot a bow and possibly hunting with it.  I know nothing about archery but I’d like to get her a “starter bow”, something that she can learn with and hunt with if she decides to, but isn’t too expensive in case she decides archery isn’t for her after all.

Any recommendations?

Sorry if this is a repeat subject/question.  I’ve read some similar posts but most of them go right over my head.

The Lacey Cabela's and Sportsmen's were completely out of the Edge bows last weekend.  I was hoping to check one out for my daughter.

my son has the edge and loves it. great bow for the money.
he is 13 and the bow goes up to 50 pounds. i wouldn't hesitate to look at that as a serious option.
