ISO - A girls 1st horse
« on: May 04, 2014, 10:12:56 AM »
If any of you know of that perfect beginner horse for a young girl shoot me a PM.

I suspect she'll be wanting to barrel race in a year or two,  but for now a trail horse would be fine.

I been looking at CL for a while nothing's jumping out at me.

Contact your local 4H extension office and see if you can get in touch with the horse group leaders this can be a great tool to finding awesome kids horses and people who deal in great kids horses.  If Jr rodeo looks to be in their future and playday you may also want to ask around about rodeo clubs, college rodeo may also have leads on good horses.  You want sound, solid horses that know their job when working with kids.
