Beware Idaho license buyers
« on: July 15, 2014, 10:21:03 AM »
Most of you prob already know since the special permit deadline has passed.  When you buy your Idaho license on line you have to print it out, that is your license.  If you call and buy it they will send you one, but on line sales you print it out.  If you don't they will charge you a duplicate fee, I saw on a post somewhere on here where somone was complaining about not recieveing their license and getting charged for a duplicate. They prob didn't print it out, I did the same thing.  Lady was nice though and sent it to me for free.  Just wanted to pass on the info if you buy Idaho license on line.

I bought my hunting license earlier in the year.  I recently bought the archery stamp and elk tag.  There was a big warning on the page saying that a new license would not be sent and that you had to print it out to be valid.  I made both purchases online.

I bought the duplicate when I bought my elk tag...with a bill that big I didn't even notice the extra $6... :chuckle:

I save the $20 fee that they charge for doing it online and just pick it up in Post falls on my way there. They have not sold out in a few years now.
