block targets

So I finally found a target that I can shoot and not worry about my arrows going out the back in being lost. Ive go a block 18 and its so nice to be able to pull arrows with out straining and it doesnt weigh a bunch.

I have the layered foam target from The Block. 5 years running and it still has some life left in it. Sadly I don't see them in stores anymore so I wonder and hope if these foam targets are supposed to last longer.

I have my Block F-21 that has 5 years of use.  All of it with broadheads and I think I will get a lot more time out of it.  I think that they are solid targets and well worth the money.

I went through 5 targets last year trying to find one that could take more the two or three shots with broadheads and not let it fly out the back. Got spendy

I have an original block layered target,  and it works good.  Until you point a bowtech at it!  My first shot out of my new invasion passed though the target, a ceder fence, and went another sixty yards before it stopped!  The block black, and anything by Rinehart are the only targets I have found that will stop it before the fletchings

Who here has owned both Block's white, layered targets and the new, black, foamy targets? I'm curious if the black ones are rated to last as long as the original layered design? I shoot field tips 98% of the time.

I had one of the old layered one and it lasted a far amount of time. Only had this new one a week or two so we will see. I have a hurrican bag target I love and have shot the snot out off with no problems the bags starting to break down but it stops my bow without a problem and very easy to pull.

These are the two targets I have. The layered target still looks new after about ten years or so, my new block target is three years old and is starting to get soft in the bulls eye. Longevity wise the layered targets are better. But they don't stop the new rifle bows like the block black

I DESTROYED the block classic in about six months.  Just used field points.  It was a bad investment of $99.

Is there any pictures or part number you guys can give to help differentiate these units from each other better?  All the block targets I have seen are black so far so I am sure I am not seeing one of them.

There are three basic block targets the block classic which is a white layered target with black shrink wrap around its outer edges, I believe the changed the layering material to black at some point but it was still the same design. After that came the block 4x4 which was a tan color and was the first four sided target, and most recently  the block black  which is also a four sided target but will stop modern hard hitting, super fast  bows.     Save your money, and get a Rinehart.

The reason the circles don't look professional is because the block classic only comers with the circles professionally sprayed on one side. After 5 years this one was turned around to get another couple years life out of it and was spray painted by a monkey...

So ive been shooting this with my broad heads and so far so good ive placed 8 shoots ing the same spot and it has held up the arrows havent gone any farther in then the firstone and the slivering hasnt been bad at all.

Here is what mine looks like.  This is the fusion F-21.  My broadheads only go in about 8 and they stop.  I shoot a Z7 @ 70# and a 485 gr arrow.  Blowing through this target is not going to happen any time soon with my rig.

Well ive been hammering the target with broad heads and its still holding up   ive put probly 30arrows in it mostly in the same 2"x2" area and it has slivered a little but still stops the arrow before the fletch

I have only owned 2 layered targets in the last 10 yrs . They are tough and no need to buy any other ..But the layered one will wear out quicker if you shoot a lot of broadheads into it .. I have done the same with mine ..When the front wears out I would flip it over ..A guy may want one of each . Layered for field tips and solid for broadheads .I think I need to pick up a solid

Where can you still buy a layered Block?

Also, I think one of the keys to longevity of the layered target is to shoot as square and straight on of an angle at the target as possible. That's why you see my target sitting on a box or two and not directly on the ground. Downward and side angles are a

I just bought the Rhinehart with the replaceable center. Pricey, but my ST pulls out easily, and so far it looks like it's going to last.  Replacement core is 50 bucks
